Product Description The Palmgren 2 ton Arbor Press Delivers the heavy force needed for riveting, squeezing, punching, bending, and other pressing applications. Removable machined steel anvil provides accurate work support in four slot positions. Depth stop securely clamps to the ram and withstands full pressure. A lockable fine adjustment adjusting screw accurately limits the depth of the ram stroke. The rugged steel ram is driven by a machined piston and dimensions are 1 ¼ x 1 ¼ inches. Punches or tools may be added to the end of the ram with the aid of a magnetic insert. The ram is reversible with one end solid and the other end with a hole and magnet to hold bits and tools. Sturdy cast-iron construction allows for the rugged strength needed for tougher jobs. The base is pre-drilled for mounting on either a bench or pedestal, and it is also machined to hold the included three bit set. The bit set includes one pointed bit, one round bit, and one square end bit along with a removable steel anvil. The removable anvil has a diameter of 6 ¾ inches. From the Manufacturer Palmgren's 12801 is an incredibly tough vise for tight-clearance applications. Low overall height and four mounting slots provide tool clearance and firm mounting on most machines. Vise has replaceable steel jaw plates. Fixed jaw plate is grooved horizontally and vertically for hold round stock. This vise has a precision ground guide bar for smooth, accurate travel and clamping.
